On Thursday night, Billy Kennedy will be on the bench for Texas A&M’s game against Mississippi State (ESPN2, 7 ET) in the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer. And that’s the very good news for both the Aggies and Kennedy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease last month. The reality, though, is that there is no slam dunk for Kennedy. A day after he returned to the bench for the Aggies’ second game against Southern on Sunday, his associate head coach and lifelong friend, Glynn Cyprien, was on a teleconference.
